The Unofficial Plymouth City Airport Website

Welcome to this Plymouth City Airport website aiming to preserve the history of what was a busy regional city airport in England up until the sudden controversial closure in December 2011. The image galleries on this website show the huge variety of operations this airport handled on a regular basis, providing a lifeline for not only business people but also for incoming and outgoing tourism. As well as scheduled flights there were frequent private operators, business jets, vital medical transfer operators for the nearby hospital and regular flights supporting the city's Royal Navy operations.
